Doug McMullin, MD

Dr. McMullin joined SCHC from his private practice of 20 years in Redding.  He has been Volunteer Faculty for the Mercy Redding Residency Program and an Assistant Professor with the UC Davis Department of Family Medicine since 2002.  He attended BYU for his undergraduate studies and graduated from Chicago Medical School in 1988.  After three years in the US Navy, he completed his Family Practice residency at Mercy Redding in 1994.  Dr. McMullin’s clinical and research interests include outpatient cardiology in the primary care setting, exercise stress testing, international neonatal resuscitation outreach, and the care systems of underserved and underserved populations.  Spare time finds Dr. McMullin with his family, and occasionally his packgoats, in the outdoors of the amazing Northstate.
