A variety of procedures are regularly performed at Shasta Community Health Center as a part of caring for a diverse underserved population.  Residents are required to participate in a minimum number of key procedures in order to graduate, and may seek additional experience depending on professional interest.

POCUS

Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) is increasingly standard of care in Family Medicine. Our residents have dedicated in-clinic training in bedside ultrasound for OB/GYN, FAST, IVC assessment, thoracic and abdominal assessment.
