In general, candidates for the Shasta Community Health Center Family Medicine Residency Program also choose to interview with our sister program, Mercy Medical Center Redding Family Medicine Residency Program. We are offering both virtual and in-person interviews for the 2023-2024 application season.

  • 9:30-10:00 AM: Individual Interviews Session 1 with PD, Faculty, and Residents
  • 10:05-10:10 AM: Break
  • 10:10-10:35 AM: Individual Interviews Session 2 with PD, Faculty, and Residents
  • 10:35-11:30 AM: Wrap-Up Session
    Optional virtual Noon Conference Attendance 1:00 PM-1:30 PM
    Optional virtual Thursday Social Hour with Residents 6:00 PM

  • 9-9:30 AM: Welcome and Introduction

  • 8:00-8:30 AM: Introduction of Program by the Program Director and Residency
  • 8:30-9:15 AM: Individual Interviews Group 1 / Clinic Tour by resident Group 2
  • 9:15-9:20 Break
  • 9:20-10:05 AM: Individual Interviews Group 2 / Clinic Tour by resident Group 1
  • 10:05-10:15 AM: Wrap-Up Session
  • 10:30-11:20 AM: Mercy Hospital tour with Residents
  • 11:20 AM-12:20 PM: Community drive tour. Meet at front of hospital to join MFHC 
  • 12:20-1:30 Lunch and Lecture (Optional)

Optional Noon Conference Attendance 1:00 PM-1:30 PM
Optional Thursday Social Hour with Residents 6:00 PM
